Education in times of crisis: ‘the school movement without party’ as a means of deconstruction of emancipatory education

Abstract

This article presents the results of a bibliographical study on conservative line movements in the post-coup of 2016. The contributions of the authors Frigotto (2017), Penna (2017) and Salles (2017) are used as the main basis. The bill called the No-Party School, also known as the "law of the gag", aims to include control of the teaching activity. It analyzes the commitment of teaching and the deconstruction of its critical identity, in order to inform and project the discussion between educators and society about such facts, as well as to enable debates that lead to the necessary action reflex, about the risks that the project can lead to education. We justify the importance of work as a promotion to the theoretical-critical foundation against projects that go against a political education and that delegitimizes pedagogical action. We conclude that the bill is nothing more than the elite's premeditation of silencing teachers, minorities and the less favored.
