Of the various researches done in education, few seek to modify areas of crystallized practices such as teaching in higher education outside of undergraduate degrees. This paper seeks to show the relevance of attention to this sector, since the current higher education forms a generation of professionals working in the management and maintenance of production in the capitalist system. For those who want to advance society beyond capital, it is essential that the intermediate classes of workers be transformed. Thus, we present the need for acting in the engineering worker class as an example of “skilled labor” that reproduces the logic of capital. Then we point out the possibility of acting in this class through vocational training courses, ie preparing the class for another form of performance. Finally, we point out the way to modify this formation, that is, through the didactics based on the Historical-Cultural Theory.
