Affiliation and Education
It is mandatory to inform the institutional affiliation of all authors of the document submitted to the journal at the time of submission on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. It is also mandatory to inform the last level of training, the email address, and the Lattes and ORCID CV identifications. At least one author must have a doctorate degree.
The Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) defines an author as a natural person responsible for creating the intellectual content of a document or institution, organization, company, committee, commission, event, responsible for publication in which personal authorship is not distinguished (ABNT NBR:2023, 2018, p.2).
Author Responsibilities
The main author of the document submitted to RIPPMar must be responsible for the integrity and reliability of the content and data reported on the OJS platform, including compliance with editorial standards, graphic design (template) and writing.
For documents with multiple authors submitted on the journal's OJS platform, it is necessary to inform the contribution of each author in preparing the text, the correct order in which the authors are presented and the declaration of authorization for the publication of the document, after approval in the evaluation process by pairs.
The opinions expressed in published documents are the sole responsibility of the author(s).
In the case of multiple authorship, the author who submits the document on the OJS platform must be the main contact, aiming for dialogue between the RIPPMar journal and the main contact author and, this in turn, must ensure that all communication is shared with other co-authors, before, during and after publication.
The main contact author must be responsible for submitting the document on the OJS platform which, in turn, requires the creation of registration in the system, if you don't already have it.
The main contact author is also solely responsible for communication between the RIPPMar journal and the other co-authors.
When submitting the document, you must ensure that all co-authors are included in the agreed display order and that everyone is aware that the document has been submitted. It is also the responsibility of the main contact author to check and correct errors in the document on behalf of all authors. The main contact author is responsible for all content of the submission, both in terms of the document and the metadata that must be completed in the system, including verifying that the names, emails, ORCID number and affiliations of all co-authors are complete and correct. It is worth noting that the main contact author does not need to be the first author of the document.
Author Contribution Declaration
For multiple-author documents submitted, it is mandatory to include the Author Contribution Declaration that specifies the contribution of each author, which may include: conception of the research idea; literature review; definition of methodological procedures; field research; curation; data analysis and interpretation; discussion of results; critical evaluation of the document; review of the final text; preparation of figures, graphs, charts and tables, etc.
