The article is part of a doctoral research on Labor Justice and Workers in Fortaleza. With the aim of investigating Labor Justice and its work in the world of work, and as workers have struggled in the legal arena to ensure their labor rights, we propose to analyze procedural sources of the TRT file of the 7th Region in the 1940s, when installation of the Regional Labor Council (CRT) until the 1950s, during which time these judicial questioning processes ceased to exist. We sought to make a thorough analysis of the individual and collective decisions of individuals and legal entities, questioning the delays in the judgments, the choice of vowel judges, against the breach of the agreement by the employer, among other situations that cast doubt on the Labor Law at the local level. The research elucidated the intricacies of the Justice of the Work in the city of Fortaleza, revealing the conflicts that engendered its formation and solidification over the years, being still today a reference of workers’ struggle.
