Throughout history it was up to the school environment the task of socializing knowledge historically constructed, however, the contemporary has revealed a crisis of that institution, than it could or should be, what would be their role or function, it is a commodity or not? The school is in a process of emptying of its meaning? The possibility of corroborating with the production of a "human activity"? Based on this diagnosis was established a partnership between the State School "José Alfredo de Almeida" - Marília - SP and some universities, and the implementation of projects such as the High School Program Innovator (PROEMI) and the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Grant - Secondary (PIBIC-Jr), as an articulator action of a new work proposal, based on the historical-cultural theory, which focuses on the need of the subject attribute new meanings to estranhadas relationships in their daily lives. From the realization of interdisciplinary activities between the natural sciences and the humanities, we seek to understand if the school would be just a place to play, but also for social transformation. To support the proposed actions, we applied a questionnaire in high school in order to collect data that were associated with the universe of students. Wow, hypothesis would be that we can still produce, organize and materialize actions, or rather teaching practices aimed at more than a reproduction, but a transformation of the reality of those who are in daily toil to build meanings and multiple.
