The present article has the theme of gender violence in Brazilian universities, which has been gaining space in discussions and scientific publications. Having the Federal University of Acre (Ufac) and, more specifically, the Undergraduate Course in Physical Education (LEF) as the context of production, the objective of this study is to provide greater visibility to the subject, analyzing the discursive contingent of documentary basis and experiences, which comprises the following unfoldings for gender violence - physical, psychological, sexual violence and any type of sociocultural discrimination. As a subsidy for the analyses, we chose the case study, because it is an emerging issue in contemporaneity. Thus, after contact with the accessed texts (LEF PPC and records/occurrences), we noticed a silencing concerning gender violence. This observation leads us to assume that, in the institution in question, there is the effectuation of the naturalization of heteronormative discourses of patriarchal society. This is due to the process of erasure of gender differences and sexualities in the "LEF" course, demonstrated in the absence of strangeness in the speeches, when they refer to violence, in addition to the lack of reception in relation to occurrences.
