Abstract

When life does not smile the exact way you want, for example, on an episode of illness, take up some shortcuts to solve practical problems and existential distress. The narratives of these episodes are the best that humanity has ever invented to guide the resolution of practical problems and provide some sense to a torn sense of reality before a serious health problem. This will be the leitmotif of this article.
