Abstract

This article aims to analyze the historical trajectory of scientific publications that use the Transcitizenship Program as a research tool through a systematic review with a descriptive and qualitative approach, prepared and written in accordance with PRISMA recommendations. The Capes Journals Portal and Google Scholar databases were consulted. The search in the cited source had as index term: “Transcidadania Program” and “Public Policies”. The search was performed by combining these terms in English. And for the review, the period from 2015 to the year 2022 was considered. After the search, (6) articles were found that adhered to the objective and theme of the study. It is noted that the Transcidadania Program, implemented in 2015, has few publications on it, thus evidencing a shortage of articles for analysis, and that most of them aim at a descriptive and introductory methodology.
