Recent allegations of harassment in Universities give rise to debate and critical analysis based on the contribution of gender studies. In this essay, I try to reflect on gender violence and feminist resistance at the University through autobiographical methodologies, in order to report experiences in two contexts, at the Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” and at the Federal University of Bahia. I identify that the feminist organization at the University is central to the empowerment of women and the development of policies to prevent and combat gender violence.
