Abstract

ABSTRACT: The central objective of this article is to present the relevance of the theme of gender violence in the university environment, pointing out the possibilities of analysis from intersectionality and social markers of difference.

I will perform the interpretation and case study of a research report, pointing out how, in the engendering of various oppressions, institutions reproduce serious violations of rights. In this way, the institutional violence directed to the body of black and racialized women, besides having a historical root in the tense ethnic-racial, gender, and sexuality relations that exist in society, acquire in the academic space perverse mechanisms that impact the health, creativity, training, full development, and permanence of these bodies in the university.

As these are delicate, complex, and strong narratives, the confidentiality and anonymity of the research interlocutors will be guaranteed, and no institution or person will be identified. The methodology used to analyze this complex phenomenon is anchored in the articulation between academia and social movements, making use of the production of black and decolonial feminists (CRENSHAW, 2002; DAVIS, 2016; hooks, 2019; VIGOYA, 2009 and 2016; CARNEIRO, 1996 and 2005; GONZALES, 2019 and 2020, NASCIMENTO, 2007 and 2019; COLLINS, 2016; LORDE, 1984; KILOMBA, 2019, ANZALDÚA, 1998 and 2016 and SPIVAK, 2010), congruent with the "claim" methodology proposed by Sara Ahmed (2018 and 2021).
