Analysis of Brazilian Scientific production on people with disabilities in the last decade

the objective of this study was to identify the characteristics of Brazilian scientific production about people with disabilities in the last decade. For this purpose, was realized the review of publications in journals between 2006 and 2016, included in the Brazilian electronic databases listed in Index-Psi (SciELO and PePSIC). The descriptors were used from the combination of two key words: Person with disability and deficient. The results indicated the existence of 1120 articles indexed in SciELO and 131 in PePSIC, peer-reviewed. 46 articles were selected, being 39 of the SciELO and seven of the PePSIC. This analyzes were based on the authors’ affiliation: Public or Private Universities, states of educational institutions, knowledge area, and types of research: method and type of study, terminology, type Evaluation: instruments used and finally thematic study. We verified that there was prevalence of articles with the subject School Inclusion and Labor Market followed by public politics and Social Stigma, Sexuality and adoption were the less interested. This is due to fact that how the people with disabilities are perceived and /or seen.
