This year, 2012, was a year of many felt losses. Brazil has lost many human freedom fighters, but the death of Carlos Nelson Coutinho, which occurred in September, after a tremendous fight against a terrible cancer, was perhaps the one that had the greatest impact, almost a catharsis. Carlos always sought common sense and coherence, almost stubbornly.
