Abstract
This paper aims to present a discussion about home work where people are engaged in clothing activities, in their relationship with domestic work, in order to understand the social / sexual division of labor in these environments and the administration of emotions. In order to do so, we will start with an analysis of the sociology of emotions, considering that from this perspective we can analyze the inequalities of social structures in their relationship with the feeling, the emotional and the great influences that can exert in this context. In treating emotions as a sociological category we open the possibility of broadening understanding beyond a macro, generalizing, tradition-focused analysis. That said, to give account of the discussion will be used in the theoretical construction of this article, authors such as Hochschild, Jaggar, Bonelli, Nunes, Kergoat, Pisciteli, among others.
