This article aims to present and stress the moment and the ways in which the encounter between feminism and International Relations Theories (ITR) is framed. The theoretical configuration in International Relations (IR) is marked by a significant diversity in terms of theories and, especially in recent years, much has been discussed about how to explore this theoretical variety. In order to understand how feminist approaches are inserted and contributed to IRT, an attempt was made to address the germination of feminist studies and their incorporation into IR, to visualize which bases contribute to the discipline, in addition to the most accepted names, such such as Cynthia Enloe and J. Ann Tickner, as well as assimilating innovationsregarding new demands in IRT and in relation to feminism towards the former. Thus, also taking advantage of epistemological axes outside the Europe-United States spectrum and what the theoretical sphere of IR gains from feminist theoretical-practical productions.
