Inteligência Artificial e Comunicação Científica

Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar a utilização da temática da Inteligência Artificial (IA) na produção acadêmica no campo da comunicação científica. Para atingir esse objetivo, foi realizada uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura (RSL), na qual foram conduzidas buscas nas bases de dados Web of Science, Scopus e Dimensions utilizando expressões-chave relacionadas à Inteligência Artificial e Comunicação Científica. De forma complementar, também foi utilizada análise bibliométrica. Os resultados revelaram um crescimento significativo na produção científica sobre IA a partir de 2017, com ênfase na aplicação dessa tecnologia na comunicação científica e nas mídias sociais. A análise da evolução temática evidenciou que assuntos relacionados à IA e à mineração de dados desempenharam um papel influente no desenvolvimento e na consolidação do campo da comunicação científica relacionada à temática, ao longo de duas décadas. Além disso, a análise da distribuição geográfica revelou um desequilíbrio na rede de produção acadêmica nessas duas áreas de estudo, com uma concentração maior de atividade no norte global. Por meio da análise de cocitação, foi possível inferir uma correlação positiva entre os temas de alta relevância e o número de citações recebidas. Essas descobertas oferecem insights valiosos para a comunidade acadêmica, estimulando a adoção de estratégias que promovam a colaboração global e o desenvolvimento de pesquisas abrangentes sobre o impacto e as aplicações da IA na comunicação científica.
