This article presents a synthesis of the results obtained in the dissertation Integration of Technical and High School Education in Professional Qualification in Agriculture at the Paula Souza Center, defended by the Post-Graduate Program in Education at the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences at Unesp. The research sought to assess how integration in professional training takes place after 10 years of implementation. Having as investigative methods, documental research, bibliographical research; in relation to empirical research, unsystematic observations and semi-structured interviews were carried out with teachers from two agricultural units at the Centro Paula Souza. It is concluded that the Pedagogical Proposal developed by the institution is based on an approach of the Pedagogy of Competences that privileges the development of competences aimed at the labor market, alerting to the wasted potentials when neglecting other human existences; in addition to the perceptions of the interviewed professors in relation to the integration process.
