The question of intersubjectivity is present throughout Merleau-Ponty's work, from The Structure of Behavior, from the debate with classical psychology and physiology, to the indirect ontology developed in the visible and the invisible. His theses evidence a deepening toward the carnality of others as the experience of a stranger / family member, who is central to understanding the possibility of intersubjectivity and the aesthetic experience of the world. Thus, the present study aims to understand how Merleau-Ponty developed his theory of intersubjectivity in the last phase of his thinking, considering the existing relationship between the experience of another and the artistic experience, from the Logos of the aesthetic world.
