The first interview in this issue of the Revista Fim do Mundo is with Venezuelan journalist and writer Modesto Emilio Guerrero (1955-). Modesto published numerous works on Latin America, Mercosur, as well as books of short stories and poetry. His most recent work is "Who invent Chávez?", a biographical essay on the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution. His biography "Reportaje con la muerte" was taken to the cinema in 2009 under the title "Aunque me cueste la vida" and awarded in Venezuela with the Stefania Mosca Literature Award 2012; his work 12 dilemmas of the Bolivarian Revolution received “Special Mention” in the Gustavo Machado Essay Prize in 2011, both in Venezuela.
