Abstract

This article seeks to identify, from a literature review, the contributions of Kautsky, Lenin and Luxemburgo's thinking on the relationship between the State, imperialism and war, so that it is possible to understand how the Marxist interpretation of these authors about the reality of the time of the First World War enriches the International Relations Theory (IRT). For this, it will be discussed in this article how these authors, from a materialist and critical analysis, interpret the conditions, the historical, political, economic and social context, as well as the post-conflict trends inserted in a capitalist world.
