This article aims to clarify the fundamental distinction between the ontological positivity of objectivation and alienation according to György Lukács and the intrinsic negativity of these concepts among an enormous series of writers. To do so, the article focuses, on this particular, between the Hungarian philosopher and Hegel, who set the classical prototype of the negative concepts of alienation objectivation.
