This article investigates the disintegration of post-Cold War American hegemony and its implications for world order. To this end, it analyzes how financial crises, the COVID-19 pandemic, and geostrategic changes accelerated this fragmentation and, proposes that such disintegration could result in both a new Cold War and a fairer multipolar order. It is concluded that the new order must focus on global issues such as environmental preservation and socioeconomic development, highlighting the need for international cooperation to face future challenges.
