In contemporary times, transmedia resources have been used to disseminate information of different natures, including scientific information. In this sense, the transmedia logic, as an operation that enables and favours the circulation of scientific information through dynamic and interactive virtual platforms, can be configured as an important resource to be incorporated into the circuit of scientific production and dissemination. The aim of this research is to discuss the phenomena that make up the environment of information production and circulation in a mediatized society and to identify, from this, some of the challenges that are part of this process of circulating scientific information from a transmedia perspective. The argumentative construction uses the methodological resource of a narrative and interdisciplinary literature review and a comparison of theoretical perspectives. It problematizes the current models of scientific circulation, pointing to dialogical communicative actions and propositions and concludes, based on the reviews and comparisons established, that in contemporary times, scientific communicative action will also need to be interactive, integrated, transmedia and interdisciplinary.
