The organizations are fundamental components in the information and knowledge society. Thus, this article aims to propose strategies based on the use of information and knowledge aimed at reducing the competitiveness of organizations even in the face of the situation of social isolation resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. To carry out the research, sequential explanatory research was used as a strategy. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews and observation, aiming to understand the profile of organizations, entrepreneurs and the actions already taken in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic by the ‘Empretecos’ group, responsible for bringing organizations together. When presenting, analyzing and interpreting the research data, it was possible to identify the profile of organizations, entrepreneurs and understand their demands and difficulties in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. With that, it was possible to build strategies based on the use of information and knowledge, aiming at the preservation and stability of organizations, in the face of social isolation, as well as the continuity and the use of the results of the strategies in the format of information and knowledge to be used in a strategic way. It is expected that with the proposed strategies, organizations will remain competitive in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic moment, especially when they must remain closed.
