This study aims to analyze the categories of Integral State, Bourgeois Domination and Civil Society, based on the production of three authors, A. V. Dantas, M. A. Pronko and Guido Liguori. Based on this material, we analyzed the article State and Bourgeois Domination: revisiting some concepts (2018), among the various assumptions analyzed in Antonio Gramsci's prison notebooks. One in particular carries a special meaning, given its relevance and power of synthesis. from the (political) misunderstanding of what the State is (in the full sense: dictatorship + hegemony). Understanding the nature of the meaning of Integral State makes it possible to apprehend the capitalist dynamics at some fundamental levels: the existence of antagonistic classes in struggles. Liguori (2003) points out that the central concept of the notebooks is not that of civil society, but that of an extended (Integral) State, and that State and Society (but also structure and superstructure) are presented in his writings as distinct concepts, but not organically separated and separable.
