Abstract

It is understood that fighting for recognition as a quilombola is not only about having the land, but, above all, to the historical recognition of education policy that violated its own history. Thus, the work aimed to understand the struggle for land and territory as a necessary condition for the implementation of quilombola education that ensures the reproduction of the subjects. The research was developed in the Quilombola Community of Tijuaçu, at the 1st Municipal School of Tijuaçu in Senhor do Bonfim-BA and, to achieve the objective, started from the bibliographic framework, document analysis, field practices, as a way to rescue the life and work experiences of the subjects involved in the research. Through the experiences, it was found that the educational projects elaborated in the school, classes based on reality, teaching and para-didactic materials, helps the democratization of the land, the knowledge, therefore, of the education.
