Abstract: The aim of this paper is to diminish the excess of obscutiry present in the contemporary philosophical analyzes of music, mainly based on a linguistic-analytical approach which, as will be defended, grants an explanation of the musical phenomenon, that is, of its constitution, value to society and sensitive/mental pleasure, in a clear and objective way as a phenomenon already well known and widespread, which is that of comunication.
