Abstract

The current work corresponds to a direct translation of the French text by the philosopher Paul Ricoeur. The chapter published in the
book De la métaphysique à la rhétorique, esseis à la mémoire by Chaïm Perelman avec un inédit sur la logique in 1986, corresponds
to a conference held in 1970 at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Belgium.
