The Support for Data Repositories in Research Infrastructures for Open Science

Os repositórios abertos de dados de pesquisa desempenham um papel fundamental no compartilhamento de dados na Ciência Aberta. Este artigo tem como objetivo investigar o suporte a repositórios de dados de pesquisa na perspectiva de que estes fazem parte de infraestruturas de pesquisa em Ciência Aberta. Analisa o apoio da União Europeia a uma infraestrutura de pesquisa que tem repositórios de dados como membros. Conclui que a União Europeia estabelece estratégias e ações eficazes para apoiar estas infraestruturas de pesquisa. Traz recomendações que apoiam o desenvolvimento das mesmas. O apoio a estas infraestruturas de pesquisa deve fazer parte de programas estratégicos; num espaço integrado de investigação; e ser conduzido por fóruns e programas de incubação específicos. Para operar em projetos estruturantes e ambientes de nuvem de Ciência Aberta, essas infraestruturas devem ter natureza e missão claras, constituição legal, sustentabilidade financeira, governança e prestação responsável de serviços. Recomenda-se o desenvolvimento de programas ou roteiros de incubação específicos para estas infraestruturas.
