Uma aproximação entre Arquivologia e Ciência da Informação

Apresenta um estudo sobre as relações interdisciplinares estabelecidas entre a Arquivologia e a Ciência da Informação, com base na prevalência de um elemento comum em ambos os campos do conhecimento: a informação registrada, delimitada no âmbito da Arquivologia pelo conceito de informação orgânica, também identificada como informação arquivística. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza quanti-qualitativa, descritiva, utilizando o método de análise de conteúdo e como procedimento de coleta de dados e pesquisa bibliográfica em duas fontes: para a construção do referencial teórico sobre os termos estudados, foram utilizadas as definições de autores clássicos da Ciência da Informação e, especificamente para o tratamento da definição de informação orgânica, os autores da nova arquivística canadense. Posteriormente, foram levantados os artigos indexados na Base de Dados de Pesquisa em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI) que utilizam os conceitos estudados de modo a identificar sua a incorporação ao referencial teórico da área. Como resultado, apresentamos o levantamento dos títulos identificados e o uso dos dois conceitos.
