Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the architectural and instrumental accessibility on spaces doomed to the classes of Physical Education. Were chosen four (4) schools owned to municipal system of a city from the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul. As instrument of data collection, was used the Form of the Areas and Materials from the Physical Education in order to verify the materials of such a subject and to the accessibility, there were specific materials of the Physical Education, however in low amount. In terms of adapted and exclusive to people with special needs, neither of the schools had. Concerning the space of the classes of Physical Education, two schools had sporting court, the other two had indoor court and the four schools had classroom as common space. The schools didn’t have architectural accessibility, according to the used protocol, once that they had court in regular conditions of use, there wasn’t color contrast on the spaces used to the classes. The results showed that the school still don’t have instrumental and architectural properly. Yet, is important that the schools offer suitable conditions of instrumental and architectural accessibility and, thus, students with special needs can have a guaranteed participation with independence and authonomy in order to process of inclusion be effective.
