Abstract

In the present work estudy the Movement of Landless Rural Workers (MST) and its Pedagogy that indicates the articulation between education and productive work. The central question that guided this researchis: how does the MST materialize work as na educational principle in its schools? The procedures adopted were bibliograph icresearch, documentary resear chand empirical research, with reading and interpretation of the available literature on the subject, analysis of legislation and MST documents, and observation and application of semi-structured interviews with teachers, employees and students of the Colégio Estadual do Campo Iraci Salete Strozak, located in the Marcos Freire Settlement, in Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, Paraná. Colégio Strozak stands out for applying the principles of MST education in a more elaborate way, however, it presents a the oretical advance greater than what it canachieve in its concrete reality. We conclude that the materialization of work as na educational principle in the College takes place through the performance of specific works that are related to the needs of students and residents of the Settlement, through associated work.
