Author Guidelines

The articles must be unpublished and may be written in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Authors are responsible for proofreading the texts, including articles in English. that must be submitted already revised in their language of origin and, after their approval, will be translated into Portuguese by the authors. Articles in Spanish will be published in the original language. In the electronic publication, the texts in English will also be available in the original language.

The texts will be fully available in electronic format, on the Educação em Revista website.a. (https://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/educacaoemrevista)

The concepts and positions expressed in the published texts are the full responsibility of the authors, not necessarily reflecting the opinion of the Editorial Board of this journal.

 

SUBMISSION Process

  1. Items must be sent electronically to the address: https://revistas.marilia.unesp.br/index.php/educacaoemrevista/about/submissions.
  2. The publication of works is conditioned to the opinions of members of the Editorial Board and Ad hoc collaborators, guaranteeing the anonymity of authors and referees in the evaluation process. An acceptance response, possible suggestions for changes or rejection of the article will be sent to the author. Any suggestions for modifying the structure or content, by the Editors, will be previously agreed with the authors. Additions or modifications will not be allowed after the texts have been delivered for composition.
  3. Articles will be evaluated according to the following criteria: quality and rigor of the arguments presented, validity of the data presented, opportunity and relevance of the article for the discussion of problems in its area of research, actuality and adequacy of the references contained in the work.

 

Technical standards and preparation of documents

  1. The works must be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English.
  2. The title, abstract and keywords must be written in the language of the article, and also in English (Title/ Abstract/Keywords).
  3. The paper must not contain the author's name and authorship marks. The author and co-authors must register and inform the requested data electronically. It is essential that the author, at the time of registration, inform his title, his institutional affiliation and the ORCID data, the same obligation for co-authors.
  4. The texts must be written in Times New Roman font, size 12, indentation of the beginning of the paragraph of 2 cm, justified alignment, spacing between lines 1.5.
  5. Articles and experience reports must have a minimum of 15 pages and a maximum of 20 pages. Its organization must submit the sequence below. Works that do not have the indicated formatting and the following sequence will be returned to the authors.
  • Title in Portuguese, bold, uppercase, justified alignment, 1.5 line spacing;
  • Title in English, font size 12, italics, capital letters, justified alignment, 1.5 line spacing;
  • Abstract in Portuguese, containing between 100 and 200 words, line spacing 1.0. The abstract must contain objectives, methodology and results.
  • Keyword: three keywords separated by dots.

  • Work Development: Subtitles must be justified and capitalized.

  1. The texts must be sent to Educação em Revista after undergoing a rigorous spelling and grammar review, in the original language (English or Spanish) and in Portuguese. Texts with language problems will be returned to the authors.
  2. Educação em Revista assumes no responsibility for concepts issued by the authors and for the accuracy of the bibliographic references used.
  3. The reproduction of works in other publications or their translation into another language is prohibited without the authorization of the Editorial Board.
  4. The article submitted to Educação em Revista should not be sent concurrently to other journals.

 

APCs (article processing fee) and submission fee.

Educação em Revista is exempt from fees for authors, both in submission and publication.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Author and co-authors are registered in the system, accessing the link http://www2.marilia.unesp.br/revistas/index.php/educacaoemrevista/user/register
  • I declare that this article is original and has not been submitted for publication in any other national or international journal, either in part or in its entirety.
  • Texts originally in English must be translated into Portuguese by the author(s), for submission, and submitted in both versions.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors on the About the Journal page.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; uses italics instead of underlining (except for URL addresses); Figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of attachments.
  • URLs for referrals were provided when possible.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor".
