A Atitude de estudantes de biblioteconomia em relação a área e ao futuro da profissão

Resumo

O objetivo da presente pesquisa é estudar as atitudes dos alunos de Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação em relação a sua área e sobre o futuro de carreira. O estudo de cunho aplicado e quantitativo usou o survey como método de pesquisa. O instrumento de coleta de dados foi um questionário modificado com base em estudos anteriores. A análise de confiabilidade do questionário foi realizada por meio do Alpha de Cronbach. A população do estudo foi formada por alunos de graduação e pós-graduação em Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação da Universidade Shahid Madani do Azarbaijão. Para responder às questões de pesquisa, foram aplicados testes estatísticos descritivos e paramétricos (Indepent-t, Anova e Pearson) com base em variáveis ​​demográficas. O software SPSS 20 foi utilizado para a análise dos dados e o Excel para o desenho dos gráficos. Com base nas constatações, a maior concordância entre os alunos foi sobre o comprometimento do futuro da carreira pelo recrutamento de pessoas não especializadas nesta profissão; enquanto a concordância mais baixa foi sobre a visão positiva das pessoas sobre esse campo. Houve uma associação positiva e significativa entre Atitudes em relação ao Campo e Futuro da Carreira e média de notas. Pode-se concluir que alunos com maior média de notas possuem opinião mais otimista sobre a área e a profissão. Os respondentes preocupam-se com o futuro da sua carreira, bem como com o emprego de graduados de outras áreas nesta profissão.
