A COR DO GATO GEOPOLÍTICA NORTE-AMERICANA E CHINESA EM PERSPECTIVA COMPARADA

Abstract

The study below was carried out with the aim of building a panoramic view of the causes and possible consequences of the hegemonic dispute between China and the US. The interpretation presented now was carried out from a comparative approach. Throughout the article, the geopolitics of the Anglo-American empires, the rise of the United States and China, and the superpowers' current strategy for achieving global leadership are put into historical perspective. Finally, some hypotheses about the new international dynamics, still in an embryonic stage, were presented.
