The present work aims to observe the history of public policies for Solidarity Economy (ESOL) present in the municipality of Araraquara-SP (since this is considered an example of "good practices" of public policies for ESOL), also observing, the starting from the Multiannual Municipal Plans (PPAm), what is the space for themes that cut across ESOL within the municipal budget forecast, to reflect on the quantity/intensity of these public policies and how much they occupy within the budget forecast. The methodology used in this work was a narrative and integrative bibliographical review and, then, a description of the programs and values present in the PPAm of Araraquara referring to ESOL policies and cross-cutting themes. Araraquara-SP is a municipality that has a large proposal for subnational public policies in ESOL, but the budget for these policies is still very limited: in addition to being oscillating (which proves to be a government agenda and not a state one – and stable ), the predicted value for ESOL policies is very small in relation to the municipal value which, like transversal policies, has an increasing value over the four-year period.
