Abstract

One of the most significant restrictions for the development and growth of small producers is access to financial resources provided by the banking system. Particularly due to the restrictiveness of the requirements that are demanded, which constitute an access barrier for the majority of this type of producer. Added to this is the costly nature of other financing alternatives. The solidarity economy draws attention to the exclusion or subordinate inclusion of credit subjects considered to be of greater risk to capitalist economic organizations and proposes alternative organizational formats for their financial inclusion. This work seeks to identify the learning and limitations that arise when implementing and self-managing financial alternatives such as Revolving Funds to cover the needs of small producers. The work analyzes the execution of Revolving Funds by the Cámara de Apicultores Pampero (CAP), which articulates with Cooperativa de Trabajo Apícola Pampero Limitada (CTAPL), located in the town of Calderón, Coronel Rosales, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
