Abstract

Now days, it is common to observe that to urismactivities are promoted with the aim of boosting local development in certain territories, valuin gre source scapableo fat tracting people to visit them. In this article, emphasiswill be placed on the paleontologicalresourcesofPehuenCó, and oncoastalresources, withemphasisonthe Villa del Mar wetlands. BothlocalitiesbelongtothedistrictofCoronel Rosales (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and have developed processes of valuation of common resources where community management has played a leading role, as well as theparticipationof Social and SolidarityEconomy (SSE) entities. The aimisto compare the aforementioned processes in the spaces under study in order to learn about the forms of participation in them. Methodologically, a bibliographical revie wis carried outon the governance of commonre sources and the processes of to urism valuation. Field work is then carried outin the localities in order to characterise their territories and collect data thatallow a comparison of the processes in each place.
