Abstract

I will analyze the essential elements of Kant’s critique of the concept of fatalism and the historical and speculative aspects in which it develops. For this, I will take into consideration two aspects: First, I expose the critical reading of Kant to the philosophy of Baruch Spinoza and, in particular, in the context of the Spinozismusstreit. Second of them, I will refers to the different uses of the concept in the Kant’s work and, specifically, in the Dialectic of Teleological Judgment of the Kritik der Urteilskraft.
