ABSTRACT: This research arose from the need to investigate the existing relationships between the school environment together with the family, favoring so that there can be learning, as well as contributing to the formation of this subject. This is because education is seen as a practice that is capable of changing the social process to which this subject is inserted. The knowledge acquired through the teaching-learning educational process is considered to be responsible for social changes in which this subject comes to participate, since the family or the school alone is not able to develop the necessary knowledge in the subjects, thus remaining to the importance of joint work that must exist between the parties. The process of education is seen as fundamental so that each subject can thus be able to enjoy equally, rights and duties offered by the community to which this subject is inserted, this is only possible through education. Here, bibliographic research was adopted as the methodology, in which articles from the Scielo database and other published works that dealt with the theme were searched, as well as some books by Paulo Freire.Keywords: School.
