Policy against plagiarism and research misconduct

In order to improve the evaluation and publication system, we started to adopt norms established by institutions such as COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and CNPq, especially in relation to good research practices.

Editors will review manuscripts with the Turnitin system shortly after submission. First, the textual content of scientific articles will be evaluated, seeking to identify plagiarism, duplicate submissions, already published manuscripts and possible fraud in research.

Repetition of most content is considered self-plagiarism, which results in the submission being rejected. The editorial committee is the one who evaluates this aspect, deciding on the appropriate referral.
