Resumo

This paper presents J. S. Mill’s concept of logic and the relation between this concept and the radical empiricism professed in the ‘System of logic’. I defend the hypothesis that an important move responsible for linguistic turn – the displacement of epistemology for semantics as main philosophical discipline – already occur in Mill’s great logical work.
