Losurdo analisa neste texto, publicado originalmente em Il Pensiero – Rivista di Filosofia, Nuova Serie – vol. XXIV-XXV, 1983-1984, o tema da paz perpétua no pensamento de J.G. Fichte, destacando os temas da utopia, programa político, revolução, guerras comerciais, colonialismo, questão nacional e princípio do "equilíbrio" como fator de paz. O autor analisa o tema da paz perpétua em diversas obras políticas fichteanas, destacando o desenvolvimento do conceito obra a obra, comparando inclusive mudanças sutis de texto para texto, tendo como pano de fundo o despontamento da Revolução Francesa, num amplo percurso teórico e histórico sobre o pensamento internacionalista de Fichte.

Abstract: Losurdo examines this text, originally published in Il Pensiero - Rivista di Filosofia, Nuova Serie - Vol. XXIV-XXV, 1983-1984, the theme of perpetual peace in the thought of JG Fichte, featurting the themes of utopia, political program, revolution, trade wars, colonialism, the national question and the principle of "balance" as a factor of peace. The author examines the theme of perpetual peace in several political works based on Fichte, highlighting the development of the concept work to work, comparing even subtle changes from text to text, with the rise of the French Revolution as backdrop, in a broad historical and theoretical course on Fichte internationalist thought.
