Resumo: O objetivo do artigo é avaliar a utilização da multimídia e sua linguagem na
divulgação dos trabalhos científicos. O site foi construído a fim de comunicar os
resultados de uma pesquisa sobre o trabalho feminino nas religiões afro-brasileiras. Esta
investigação revelou que a “Obrigação” no candomblé se refere a todas as atividades
desempenhadas para a realização das cerimônias e a principal é a preparação das comidas
sagradas para o sacrifício aos deuses, posteriormente repartida com a comunidade.
Equiparamos esses trabalhos nos terreiros com os trabalhos domésticos relacionando-o
com a condição do trabalho feminino no cenário local para mostrar o caráter voluntário e
de resistência à exploração quando realizado na comunidade religiosa afro-brasileira. A
questão norteadora deste artigo é examinar se a hipermídia na comunicação científica é
capaz de exprimir ideias conceituais que não estão claras a uma visão imediata. A imagem
principal foi composta em formato de mosaico de fotografias acrescido por uma
diversidade de meios audiovisuais e textos escritos (vídeos, áudio, fotos, slides, resumo e
relatório) que versam sobre as várias faces das atividades das cozinheiras de religião afro-
brasileira desde sua família e seus afazeres domésticos no lar ao seu trabalho remunerado.
A metodologia utilizada foi a interpretação do sentido das obras consultadas com vistas
a criar um quadro de referência que permitiu compreender a lógica da construção do
problema de pesquisa e o nexo com o raciocínio de construção de imagens de sua
divulgação científica. A exibição dos resultados da pesquisa na hipermídia segue o
mesmo fundamento da investigação científica, ou seja, ambas são reconstruções da
realidade social elaborada para responder ao problema levantado. Assim como a
linguagem escrita não substituiu a linguagem falada, o relatório audiovisual não substitui
o relatório escrito. Porém, diferentemente deste, representa o conceitual através da
experiência do sujeito no mundo. Enquanto instrumento de comunicação científica,
contribui com novas condições de diálogo observador/observado porque favorece a todos
os envolvidos na investigação.

Resumen: El objetivo del artículo es evaluar el uso de la multimedia y su lenguaje en la
difusión de trabajos científicos. El sitio web fue creado con el objetivo de comunicar los
resultados de una encuesta sobre el trabajo femenino en las religiones afrobrasileñas. Esta
investigación reveló que la “Obligación” en Candomblé se refiere a todas las actividades
que se realizan para llevar a cabo las ceremonias y la principal es la preparación de
alimentos sagrados para el sacrificio a los dioses, luego compartidos con la comunidad.
Equiparamos estos trabajos en los terreiros con el trabajo doméstico, relacionándolo con
