Desde março de 2020, o mundo vive um clima de medo com a
pandemia do coronavirus devido à ameaça deste virus letal. Este problema
de saúde global, levou-nos a novos hábitos, ao isolamento social, obrigando a
reorganização da vida em sociedade. Neste momento, pudemos constatar que
alguns dos problemas vivenciados por muitas pessoas, não resolvidos antes da
pandemia, agravaram-se chegando ao limite, como no caso da violencia de gênero,
levando ao aumento de casos de violencia doméstica chegando ao feminicidio.
Outros problemas vivenciados pela população pobre, pela população negra, pelas
pessoas LGBTQIA+, também foram agravados demonstrando que a tão almejada
igualdade de Direitos ainda está muito distante da vida em sociedade. Devido a
todos estes problemas, a Rede Mulheres Vivas elegeu como tema para discurssão
no II Seminário, Mulheres em tempos de pandemia e os autores dos trabalhos
apresentados foram convidados a apresentar artigos para este fascículo com os
temas relatados a seguir.
As autoras do texto, intitulado Las tareas de cuidado: entre el amor,
la abnegación y la inequidad…lo que no se vé, apresentam a problemática dos
cuidados, demonstrando que, com a pandemia, a vida cotidiana tornou-se agenda
de governo nunca antes considerada como necessária. Assim, demonstrando a
realidade vivenciada pelas mulheres na Argentina, mas que são similares à do
nosso país de tantos outros, mostraram que a organização dos cuidados é injusta
para as Mulheres e reproduzem desigualdades.
