envolvidas. Essa abordagem tem a intenção de reduzir a prática curricular da
multidisciplinaridade, tão presente na área das ciências, uma vez que não
ocorre, efetivamente, uma interação entre as variadas disciplinas. Rodrigues
(2013), também, reitera essa proposição quando expõe que a utilização de
projetos interdisciplinares ou projetos de intervenção, que dizem respeito
à busca de soluções de problemas, é uma importante forma de trabalhar a
interdisciplinaridade na escola, visando, assim, a uma aprendizagem significativa.
O autor ainda dialoga com Fazenda (1992) ao explicar que o valor e a
aplicabilidade da interdisciplinaridade podem ser verificados tanto na formação
geral, quanto na profissional, principalmente na de pesquisadores, como um
meio de superar a dicotomia ensino-pesquisa e como forma de permitir uma
educação permanente. Dessa forma, seja por meio de projetos interdisciplinares
ou projetos de pesquisa, a interação dos estudantes com os conteúdos de forma
interdisciplinar é apresentada também como uma forma de estimular o gosto pelo
conhecimento, produzindo uma aprendizagem significativa. Destarte, nos mais
diversos contextos de projetos interdisciplinares, a afirmativa a seguir de Santos e
Weber (2012, p. 72), ratifica a proposta e o objetivo deste trabalho. Segundo as
autoras:
Práticas de ensino baseadas na interdisciplinaridade propiciam a formação
de alunos e alunas mais aptos a enfrentar questões contextualizadas, que
transcendem os limites de uma única disciplina. A partir de proposição de
uma situação-problema ou questão orientadora, o aluno estará mais motivado
a aprender, estará diante de uma situação que se aproxima muito mais da
realidade por ele vivida.
No ensino da Química, muitos trabalhos também trazem a
interdisciplinaridade como uma abordagem que pode tornar mais significativa a
aprendizagem dos conceitos científicos, especialmente quando se utilizam temas
cotidianos de grande relevância, como os alimentos (CORREA et al., 2016;
FERRÃO; PEREIRA; CORREA, 2020; GOMES; COSTA, 2020; SANTANA;
TERRA; LEITE, 2017; TERRA; LEITE, 2017).
De acordo com Zucco (2011, p. 733), a Química presta uma
contribuição essencial à humanidade,
seja com alimentos e medicamentos, com roupas e moradia, com energia e
matérias-primas, com transportes e comunicações. Fornece, ainda, materiais
para a Física e para a indústria, modelos e substratos à Biologia e Farmacologia,
propriedades e procedimentos para outras ciências e tecnologias.
Assim, para Richetti e Alves e Filho (2014), incorporar temas
contemporâneos às práticas pedagógicas de professores de Química tem sido
